PTA Frequently Asked Questions

What is the PTA and why should I join?
The Parent Teacher Association(PTA) is a group of parents, caregivers, and staff working together to support our students and school. When you join the PTA, you're helping fund important programs, show appreciation to teachers, and create fun events that bring our community together.
Do I have to volunteer if I join the PTA?
Not at all! While we always welcome volunteers, joining the PTA does not commit you to anything beyond supporting the organization. Your membership alone helps us reach our goals, and you're welcome to get involved as much or as little as you'd like.
What does the PTA do with the money it raises?
Funds raised by the PTA go directly back into the school. This includes classroom supplies, field trips, teacher grants, student programs, family events, staff appreciation, and more. Every dollar makes an impact!
How do I sign up for PTA membership?
You can join online through our Join the PTA page, at school events, or by filling out a paper form sent home with your student. We accept cash, checks, and card payments.
How do I volunteer for events or programs?
Visit the Volunteer Opportunities page to see what’s coming up! Whether you can help once a semester or every month, there’s a spot for you. Many volunteer roles are flexible and family-friendly.
When and where does the PTA meet?
We hold General Membership Meetings (GMMs) throughout the school year, on campus in the evenings. Check out the Bulldog Calendar for upcoming dates — and all are welcome to attend!
